Brown ground beef over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until no longer pink. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to break meat up into smaller chunks. Drain. Allow to cool to at least room temperature. Placing the meat into a bowl and then into the refrigerator works best.
Meanwhile, prepare lettuce and other desired vegetables or toppings.
Stir dressing, taco sauce, and taco seasoning together in a small bowl.
When you are ready to serve, toss lettuce, vegetables, meat, cheese, and dressing mixture together in a large bowl. Doritos can be stirred into the mixture or served alongside if you prefer your chips to stay crispier.
